Selena Llamas has been working with Expect More Arizona for nine years. She has played an integral role in making education a top priority and building education advocates in both urban and rural communities throughout Southern Arizona.
“I am passionate about education because it is the great equalizer and it allows students who grew up like me to build a life and career for themselves. Education can never be taken from us. We can take our education certificates to every state in the nation and around the world. My hope is that my advocacy work has helped others fight for their child’s education and for teachers to be compensated as the professionals that they are.”
